Aashiv Talwar is a student of The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Gurugram. Passionate about business and entrepreneurship, Aashiv is a member of his school’s investing club. Harboring a deep-running interest in development economics and social entrepreneurship, Aashiv is specifically interested in the ways in which education reform can be materialized in the developing world towards the end of poverty alleviation for vulnerable communities. Upstart is an attempt in precisely this direction.

Ever keen to test out his ideas in the real-world, Aashiv is also the founder of two more initiatives: Play it Forward as well as Gurudhoondo. While GurudhooAashiv is a dedicated sportsperson who enjoys playing cricket, and has won awards in inter-school competitions representing the TSRS team. He is also a member of his school basketball team, learns golf at the Delhi Golf Club, and enjoys pickleball.
